About Us
It is one of the faculties of Alsharg University of Science and Technology. It was established as one of the Alsharg Ahlia College programs in 2014 under the name of English Language Program to awards a general Bachelor’s degree in English language and literature in (4) years.
The Establishment
- The program started with batch (20) and now has reached batch (28).
- In 2023, English language program was upgraded to the Faculty of Arts.
- The faculty includes three departments: (English Language and Literature, Arabic Language and Literature, Psychology and Kindergarten, and Media and Communication Sciences).

Academic Degrees:
The college grants the following academic degrees:
- Bachelor of Honors in disciplines of (English Language and its Literature, Arabic Language and its Literature, Psychology and Kindergarten, Media and Communication Sciences in disciplines of: Radio and Television, Media and Public Relations, Journalism and Digital Publishing).
- Master’s degree in English language and its literature “by research only”.
- Master’s in English language “By courses”.
- Master’s in English literature “By courses”.
- Higher Diploma in English language “By courses”.
The faculty is looking forward to establishing departments of living world languages such as Russian, French, German and Chinese in the near future.
Objectives of the College:
Qualifying the faculty to be one of the unique scientific and research centers in graduating and producing scientifically and practically qualified cadres in all disciplines, and providing scientific foundations and consultations to address the problems that face the community.
